The patented Ellis Cantilevered Seat is a standard item on every Ellis 36 Express Cruiser. The seat-backs face in either direction, forward or aft. The seats also move up/down and forward/aft with the flip of a switch located on the sidearm. There are no legs the seats fully suspend from the port/starboard bulkhead.

The patented Ellis Sidekick includes a bow thruster, rotating/retractable stern thruster, and control panel at the helm station. The control panel includes a hold feature that engages hydraulic thrusters and holds the boat fast against the dock while you tie up. An optional generator can run the entire system. The Ellis Sidekick doubles as the backup engine, getting you home if your main engine fails.

Ellis has adopted the patented Integrated Exhaust Hull Structure (IEHS) developed by respected marine engineer George VonWidmann. This new system integrates the exhaust outlets into the hull structure and significantly improves performance while further reducing sound levels on the already quiet and efficient Ellis 36.

The Ellis 36 UltraJet® incorporates a unique jet propulsion system that greatly improves maneuverability and versatility. The resulting boat can run in excess of 27 knots, and the horizontally installed water jets greatly reduce the rooster-tailing normally associated with jet propelled boats. |
