In 1946, Raymond Bunker and Ralph Ellis began building the world-renowned “Bunker and Ellis” wooden lobster yachts. Their fine skill and quality product continues in the hands of Ralph Ellis’s son, Don Ellis, the current owner of Ellis Boat Company. Today, the Ellis Boat Company employs an average of 20 craftsmen and women working as a team to produce anywhere from three to ten custom boats a year.
