When singer/songwriter Billy Joel came to Ellis Boat in 2007 looking for a new sport fishing design based on the Ellis 36 semi-displacement hull, we were only too glad to help out. Once the boat was completed and the drawings and sketches had become a reality, it only made sense to incorporate the new design into the Ellis fleet. We are now pleased to present the new Ellis Patriot series. The boat will be available in both 36’ & 40’ configurations and, like all Ellis boats, be fully customizable. The center-mounted console and shelter seating will be standard features on the Patriot 36, as will the streamlined, contoured look that make the Patriot unique.
